Codes Not Working? Redeem and Fix

I hit this confusion the first time I compared sources. Roblox hosts a public redeem page at roblox.com/redeem, and the rendered page points at help articles for promotional codes, virtual item codes, and gift cards. Survive a Million Monkeys gem codes are a different path. Every walkthrough I read puts the field inside the experience, after you finish the tutorial.
Order the articles actually describe
- Finish the tutorial. Guides say the Codes control is not available before that.
- Stand in the lobby and open Codes. PCGamesN places it at the top right.
- Paste the code with no leading or trailing space. Beebom says a space or the wrong letter case returns an error.
- Press the green tick to submit. Confirm the response and gem balance; the tick is a button, not proof that the reward was paid.
If it still fails
- Delete spaces and type the letters again. Check the current published list and source status, including media-reported 5MVISITS.
- Assume a code you already redeemed will not pay twice. The online guide says each code is once per account.
- Rejoin, or try another server. Beebom lists a restart as the next step after spacing and case.
- Read the error text instead of refreshing past it. The online guide treats the message as the clue.
